Dr. Chad Sloan, D.D.S., M.D.

Dr. Chad Sloan is a proud Utah native from Lehi. He attended Lehi High School excelling in academic pursuits as well as participating in varsity football, wrestling and track. He completed a two-year LDS Church mission to Madrid, Spain and maintains his Spanish fluency, certified in medical translation.

During his undergraduate at Brigham Young University, Dr. Sloan was named a Crocker Innovation Fellow and published as a co-author in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals. Before graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Minor in Business Strategy, Dr. Sloan was selected for a prestigious internship where he researched temporomandibular joint (TMJ) reconstruction technology and conducted product market analysis. This interested him to pursue a career in facial and reconstructive surgery. He attended dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA, followed by medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, NE, graduating with honors. He then completed an internship in General Surgery and his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In his sixth year of surgical training, Dr. Sloan served as the Chief Resident of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During residency, Dr. Sloan was trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with extensive training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery, Trauma, Facial Cosmetic and Oculoplastic Surgery. His broad surgical training helped develop a passion for all areas of facial surgery including facial cosmetic surgery and facial rejuvenation, Orthognathic jaw surgery, TMJ surgery, maxillofacial pathology, wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting, and head and neck trauma reconstruction.

He and his wife Melissa have two beautiful daughters, and when he is not working, you’ll find him running, hiking, skiing and making memories with his family. Dr. Sloan is passionate about his work and committed to providing patients with ideal treatment plans and excellent care to address their goals in Facial Cosmetic, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
